What has drawn me to this profession is discovery. Answering visual problems. Discovering what combinations of shape, color, language make another person feel or do. What determines that orange will make one person want pizza and the other buy a pint of ice cream. Stumbling into happy mistakes and experiencing the triumphant energy of success.
Likewise, this is what I find most fascinating and incredible of science. It is discovery in asking questions. Stumbling on new ideas. But most of all, its similarity to design by demanding imagination. It is imagination that propels ideas further and feeds curiosity of that first question, “what if?”
